Hi! I have been having tmj problems for about 2 years. It all started when my teeth started to hurt. I kept going to the dentist but none could tell me why so pain. I remember that one doctor I went to told me I was grinding my teeth at night that that's why my teeth hurt. There was a time which I was really stressed so that's when it all started. All my pain started on my left side which is very bad. I even went to a ent doctor which told me I had tmj. Tnis was probably a year later. I went to the hospital and all they did was x-rays, and give me a night guard which has helped a little but not much I feel like Im getting worst I don't know what to do. I have medicaid which doesn't really cover much. know my right side is starting to flare up also. I feel so helpless, depressed. Sometimes I ask my self if I will be in pain all my life. I've also tried acupuncture which really helps I had to stop because it is to expensive besides its only temporary. Once you stop going the pain comes back. If anybody knows about any doctor's in New York please e-mail me or suggestions.
