I woke up this morning realizing that my right eye does not close all the way. I am TERRIFIED! What can be done with the facial nerves? I finally have decided to try to find some help, if there is any. I have suffered from problems created by a dislocated jaw for 7 years now. I was in a bad marriage, and received an injury from a blow to my chin. The doctor told me that there is nothing they can do to fix it, and that they do not suggest a operation. I am furious. I think that they should have at least tried something, when they saw that my whole jaw was in incorrect postion! I have a badly disfigured face, and it seems to be getting worse. I have an awful pulsating ringing in my ears, and tingling and numbness on my face. My ear drum is fluttering and my vision(right eye)is getting bad. I have a feeling of discomfort in my eye. I don't have any headaches because my jaw has healed, and I am no longer breaking tissue by trying to force the jaw on its place to look normal. I used to have terrible one-sided headaches and neck pains. My face has changed dramatically, little by little. My temples are often swallen and that makes my face look huge. I was just told by my dentist that some wisdom teeth should come out! How is he going to pull them out without causing more problems, I wonder. It seems that there is a bad problem with my facial nerves. I also have this pain on the left side of my neck. I went to see my Doctor about heart palpitations and my jaw problems. He offered me VALIUM, and asked me to go to see a councelor! I did not get any help. He said stress is making me feel sick! My symptoms are real and VERY painful! He thought this was a mental problem. Sad.
